The Rainbow Train returns for 2023

16 Aug 2023

All aboard the Rainbow Train! Join us all from the Bury LGBTQI+ Forum and House of Bridget at our 3rd annual Rainbow Train on Sunday 24th September.

Starting at Bolton Street Station, Bury, our vintage Rainbow steam train will take you from Bolton Street station Bury, up to Rawtenstall station and then back to Bury on a 2 hour extravaganza of LGBTQI+ acts and performances, celebrating all the diversity and queer joy of Bury.

This year we are pleased to announce that the House of Bridget Queens will be joined by the amazing Bury Fire Choir singing Pride hits on the platform at Bolton Street.  Following their successful appearance at this years Bury Pride, they were so excited to be asked to perform again.

We are also excited to announce that after a tour around Europe, Laura and the Lesbians will be performing at the Rawtenstall stop, where they will be showcasing their award winning set.

And then as the train pull back in to the final stop, the fabulous Sharleen, one of the country’s best Cher tribute will be performing all Cher’s hits in what will be a camp show stopper.

Tickets are available in our website’s shop.  Just follow the link.  Tickets are £10.00 per person or £8.00 concession. (Students, under 18 or over 55)
