11 Aug 2023
Sparkly eyes to shining smiles: to create a brilliant LGBT Review our Christmas panto! The very mention of an LGBT pantomime sent shivers down the spines of the audience, who were nearly dancing in anticipation.

Imagine a pantomime that isn’t only about laughing and fun, but also about colourful representation, joyous celebration, and the simple enjoyment of bringing various stories to life on stageIt’s about using a rainbow brush to paint great stories, ensuring that every hue in our community shines brilliantly.

Since that joyful gathering, our zealous members have been meeting, laughing, and dreaming big in order to make this amazing vision a reality. These meetings have been full with humour, inventiveness, and several ‘aha!’ moments, helping to shape our pantomime into a genuine masterpiece.

But hold on! As August arrives with its languid summer days, we’re taking a short, happy vacation to soak up the rays and collect even more brilliant ideasDuring this time, Rebecca and I will be organising some really fantastic workshops for the autumn, armed with our notebooks and a load of excitementWe’re all ready to turn every meeting into a carnival of imagination, bringing us closer to our fantasy Christmas show.

In all honesty, our journey has been like a confetti shower, full of passion, excitement, and a shared ambitionWe’ll be busy preparing for a Christmas event that promises to be the talk of the town, packed with sparkle, laughter and a whole lot of love, as the autumn leaves begin to fall.
